/Today is the first day of a 9 week Olympic Lifting strength cycle. We need everyone to keep track of their numbers, and post them on StrengthDiary. Many days will involve several sets of exercises, so we also need everyone to stay focused and keep moving. We will continue with our gymnasctic warmup, but we will be stopping the warmup at 10:00 after, so everyone needs to move quickly through the reps there too.
Friday or Saturday of each week will involve Snatch and Clean & Jerk Heavy Singles, as well as Heavy Front Squats. Try to attend as many of these sessions as possible!
Split Jerk 4 Rep Max, 90% of that x 4 x 2
Back Squat 5 Rep Max, 90% of that x 5 x 4
3 Rounds for time:
15 DB Hang Squat Cleans, 45#
50 Situps
This week, work heavy, but save a bit in the tank. Next week the goal will be to beat this week's numbers.
