/Since the gym is closed today, take some of the time you would have used to go and work out and make a list of goals.
*3-4 goals is probably sufficient to start. Too many goals to work on and you may not be able to focus your attention.
*Make them worth working towards, but achievable. If you don't have a pull up yet, 10 unbroken muscle ups may be a lofty goal.
*Be specific. Snatch 200 lbs, run a mile in under 6:00, and 100 consecutive double Unders are specific goals. "Get better at double unders" isn't.
*Be positive. "Run continuously during running WODs is more effective and positive than "Stop sucking wind and walking during a 400m run."
*Write your goals down and share them with someone. Putting your goals down on paper takes commitment and makes them concrete and real. Sharing them with someone like a coach or training partner will help you be accountable.
I can't wait to see what you guys come up with and help you crush some goals in 2016!
