Each workout will have multiple scaling options. We expect every athlete to make a full effort and compete at the highest level he or she is capable of. Scaling down for a faster time or to make more reps easily will not be allowed. For instance, in this workout if you can overhead lunge 95# reasonably well and have done chest to bar pull-ups, even one at a time, you should select RX. If you can do the weight but have only done standard pull ups, you should scale.
